PhotoChrome Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Overview
PhotoChrome is built by Qyvo with privacy as a core principle. Your data belongs to you. This policy explains how PhotoChrome handles your information.
Data Collection
PhotoChrome does not send any personal data to Qyvo. We don't run servers that receive your information. There are no user accounts and no third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
PhotoChrome uses Apple's OSLog for on-device diagnostic logging. These logs stay on your device and are never sent to Qyvo.
Data on Device
Everything PhotoChrome generates (saved frame templates, export settings, preferences) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. None of this is accessible to Qyvo or any third party.
Image Processing
All image processing happens entirely on your device: cropping, framing, EXIF extraction, and overlay rendering. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere. PhotoChrome reads EXIF metadata (camera model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO) and embedded location data for display only.
Permissions
- Photo library access is needed to import photos for framing and save exported images.
- PhotoChrome does not access your camera, location, or contacts.
In-App Purchases
PhotoChrome offers a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) processed entirely by Apple. Qyvo has no access to your payment information.
Children's Privacy
PhotoChrome does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No personal information is required to use the app.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
