PhotoPlanner Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Overview

PhotoPlanner is built by Qyvo with privacy as a core principle. Your data belongs to you. This policy explains how PhotoPlanner handles your information.

Data Collection

PhotoPlanner does not send any personal data to Qyvo. We don't run servers that receive your information. There are no user accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. No third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs are included.

Data on Device

Everything PhotoPlanner generates (saved locations, collections, photo journals, EXIF data, notes, tags, settings) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. None of this is accessible to Qyvo or any third party.

iCloud Sync

PhotoPlanner uses iCloud to sync your saved locations, collections, and photo journals across iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch. This data lives in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Qyvo has no access to your iCloud data.

On Apple Watch, PhotoPlanner also uses WatchConnectivity for real-time sync with your iPhone alongside iCloud.

Permissions

Weather Data

On Mac, the Session Planner uses Apple's WeatherKit to show weather forecasts alongside sun data. These requests go through Apple's servers under Apple's privacy policy. Qyvo does not receive or store weather data.

In-App Purchases

PhotoPlanner offers a Pro subscription (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) processed entirely by Apple. Qyvo has no access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

PhotoPlanner does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No personal information is required to use the app.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
