PhotoQuest Privacy Policy

Overview

PhotoQuest is built by Qyvo with privacy as a core principle. Your data belongs to you. This policy explains how PhotoQuest handles your information.

Data Collection

Qyvo does not operate servers that collect your personal data. There are no Qyvo user accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. PhotoQuest does not include any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.

Data on Device

Everything PhotoQuest generates (challenge completions, photos, ratings, notes, streaks, badges, preferences) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. None of this is accessible to Qyvo or any third party.

Social Features & CloudKit

PhotoQuest includes optional social features powered by Apple's CloudKit public database: friend codes, an activity feed, and challenge invites. If you enable social features, the following is stored in CloudKit:

This data is tied to your Apple ID and stored on Apple's infrastructure. Qyvo has no access to your Apple ID or iCloud account. You can turn off social features at any time in settings.

Permissions

In-App Purchases

PhotoQuest offers a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) processed entirely by Apple. Qyvo has no access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

PhotoQuest does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No personal information is required to use the app.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
